Brook was thrilled about her first haircut. Well, she was thrilled with the results. She was not too sure about the actual haircut. We put her in the chair and she sat like the this the whole time. This is what we call "the Brook look." Anytime she is a little unsure about a situation, she gets very still and pulls this little frowny face.
She was the perfect client. My friend said she had never had a first-time-haircut kid sit so still.
Of course it was all worth it in the end when she got to pick a treat.
For the rest of the afternoon and into the next day she kept talking about her pretty hair at the beauty shop. What have we started?
Sariah got a haircut, too. The two sisters enjoyed their treats and new do's together. Brook's haircut makes her look so grown-up. She actually asks to get her hair done and then takes her time choosing a "clipie" to go in it. We have a girly-girl on our hands.
