No way that I am this far behind on my blogging! Alas, I am. So back to the end of May when Zac graduated from Kindergarten. He was very excited for his program. I was a proud mommy watching him. There is a video clip of part of the the program at the end of this post. Zac misses his teachers and friends and was thrilled that several kids from his class are also on his Tball team. (More details to come.) I love my boy and wish he would stop growing up, but since that is not possible, I am so pleased with the great boy he is growing up to be!
Zac is not the only "graduate" in our house. Ally graduated from the Pretty Princess Preschool. We were lucky to be invited mid year to join a little mother's preschool group. Ally only knew one of the other girls when we started. They all became fast friends. What a cute group of girls. I loved my turns to be the teacher. We had a graduation breakfast and the girls all ordered hot chocolate. They came in huge mugs with tons of whipped cream on top. It was fun to watch them drink it. Ally also ordered blueberry pancakes and was in heaven. Brook came with us. Besides spilling her chocolate milk all down her front, she was awesome.
What can I say? This picture says it all.
This was my contribution to Ally's graduation. Thanks again to FamilyFun.com. They were fun to make and all the moms loved them. The girls did, too but they were too busy eating them. Ally is excited to start "real preschool" in the fall. She will be in Miss Laura's class just like Zac and Sariah were. Can you believe that for two mornings a week I will only have one child at home? That makes me a little sad I have to admit. I hope Brook does not get tired of being my errand buddy. She will miss her kids.
Although the video quality is not the best, you'll have to check out Zac's sweet moves. He was cracking me up. Sariah loved it, too. You can hear her giggle at the end. Another side note, the cute girl next to Zac with the big flower in her hair has a little crush on Zac. She actually switched spots so she could be next to Zac. Part way through the program all the kids left the stage while a slide show was playing. When they came back in wearing their gradutation hats she was back where she was supposed to be. Zac was oblivious. He was just disappointed because his friend was supposed to be next to him. He is an Anson boy after all so he better get used to it :)
